On 14 September 2026, Valeriia Riadynska, a graduate of the Department and a long-time head of the student research group on historiography, source studies, and special historical disciplines, met with students as part of the course “Factors of Successful Employment in the Profession” and spoke about her professional career. Our guest shared her experience of working in the field of cultural projects. Her professional path began with active volunteer work in projects of the University History Museum, coordinated by Olha Krasko. Later, her volunteer experience, practical skills, and professional contacts helped Valeriia find a job at the “House of Sound” of the Lviv Radio municipal enterprise.
During the meeting, Valeriia Riadynska explained in detail what cultural management is, what responsibilities a cultural manager has, and what skills are necessary for successful work in this field. Special attention was given to how the skills gained while studying at the Faculty of History can be used in cultural projects and why historians can become successful professionals in this area.
We sincerely thank Valeriia Riadynska for the interesting conversation! We are proud of our graduates!
