On November 27, 2023, the lecturers of the department, Viktoriia Ivashchenko, Yuliya Kiselyova and Yevhen Rachkov, participated in the “Interview Projects on Ukrainian History since 1991: Online Networking Meeting.”
The purpose of the event was to bring together oral history projects dedicated to Ukraine since its declaration of independence in 1991, with a particular focus on the period of the Russo-Ukrainian War. During the event, current research initiatives were presented, and there was a discussion of the theoretical, methodological, and practical challenges faced by oral history projects. Special attention was given to exploring possibilities for further interaction among the participants of the event.
The event is coordinated by the Specialized Information Service for East, Central and Southeast European Studies based at the Bavarian State Library.
