​90th Anniversary of the Birth of Vira Ivanivna Butenko

April 19, 2026 marks the 90th anniversary of the birth of Vira Ivanivna Butenko (April 19, 1936 – February 15, 2026), Associate Professor of the Department of Historiography, Source Studies, and Archaeology of the Faculty of History. She established enduring traditions in the study and teaching of history didactics and maintained close professional and creative ties between the Faculty of History and school teachers.
