A rich stratum of bibliographic studies has emerged out of more than half a century of efforts by members of our Department and the staff of the Department of Information and Bibliography at the Central Academic Library of Kharkiv University. They include both bibliographies of works by the Department’s individual scholars (18 of these have been published) and consolidated bibliographical reference guides, the publication of which marked the 25th, 30th, 35th, and 45th anniversaries of the Department. The Department is a leader in the production of monographs devoted to its own distinguished scholars.
