​The Conference "Urban Symbolic Space and Historical Memory: (De)construction of Myths"

On October 9, 2018, the head of the Department of Historiography, Source Studies, and Archeology, professor S.I.Posokhov and associate professor of the Department Ye.S.Rachkov took part in the work of the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Urban Symbolic Space and Historical Memory: (de)construction of myths". Prof. S.I.Posokhov together with the employee of the Center for Urban History (Lviv) I.Sklokina presented a collective monograph "Politics and Memory. Dnepr - Zaporozhye - Odessa - Kharkov from the 1990s to today, ed.G.Casianov (Lviv, 2018). The conference was organized by the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory. He also told about the objectives of the international scientific project "Self-representation of multinational cities in the industrial and post-industrial period", organized by the lecturers of the Department.
