On April 28, 2026, as part of a meeting of the Student Academic Club in Historiography, Source Studies, and Special Historical Disciplines, a roundtable discussion was held on the topic, “In the Focus of Historiographical Inquiry: How Contemporary Historians Write, Communicate, and Become Visible.”
The event was attended by undergraduate and graduate students, while faculty members of the department joined the discussion. The presentations generated lively interest and provided a basis for an active exchange on the historian’s responsibility, the role of the academic community, and the importance of ongoing engagement with current historiographical developments. The event encouraged participants to reflect on the significance of historiographical inquiry and, it is hoped, will contribute to growing interest in historiographical research.
