Online Discussion "Protecting Cultural Heritage in Ukraine: Challenges and Legislative Priorities"
On April 8, 2025, Yevhen Rachkov, Associate Professor in the Department of Historiography, Source Studies, and Archaeology, participated in the online discussion "Protecting Cultural Heritage in Ukraine: Challenges and Legislative Priorities." The event was organized by the Analytical Center "Institute of Legislative Ideas" with the support of the UNESCO Bureau.
The discussion brought together representatives of government agencies, civil society, academia, cultural heritage professionals, and international partners. Notable participants included Chiara Dezzi Bardeschi, Head of the UNESCO Bureau in Ukraine; Yevheniia Kravchuk, Deputy Chair of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy and Chair of the PACE Committee on Culture, Science, Education, and Media; and Anastasiia Bondar, Deputy Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformation, and Digitalization.
