Online Meeting on Enhancing Legislation for the Protection of Ukraine’s Cultural Heritage

On October 7, 2025, Yevhen Rachkov, Associate Professor of the Department of Historiography, Source Studies, and Archaeology, participated in a public meeting focused on improving legislation for the protection of Ukraine’s cultural heritage.

The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine and brought together representatives of government bodies, civil society, scholars, and experts in cultural heritage protection.

During the meeting, Acting Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications Tetiana Berezhna and Deputy Minister Ivan Verbytskyi presented the ministry’s plans and outlined the objectives of a working group that will be established to strengthen legislation governing the protection of Ukraine’s cultural heritage.
