​Victory in the Student Research Paper Competition

On 29 May 2026, during the celebration of the History Faculty Day at V.N.Karazin Kharkiv National University, students of the Department of Historiography, Archaeology, and Heritage Studies were awarded prizes as winners of the student research paper competition.

1st place – Lidiia Kuzmenko, “The History of the Poltava Exaltation of the Cross Monastery: from its foundation to institutional revival (1650–1991)”.

2nd place – Ihor Babak, “The Museum History of the Village of Murafa in Kharkiv Region (late 19th – early 21st century)”.

3rd place – Volodymyr Chertkov, “Iron Artefacts of the Saltivka Culture Population Based on Materials from Sites in the Velyka Babka River Basin”.

The competition was held with the support of V.O.Pryimenko, an alumnus of the Faculty of History.
