On March 5, 2026, Yevhen Rachkov, Associate Professor of the Department of Historiography, Heritage Studies, and Archaeology, participated in a meeting of the Committee on Historic Cities, Towns and Villages of ICOMOS Ukraine.
During the meeting, he presented the activities of the CityFace Research Initiative and participated in a discussion of current challenges related to the preservation of Ukraine’s cultural heritage during the Russo-Ukrainian War.
The meeting also featured presentations on the activities of the Ukrainian Heritage Monitoring Lab HeMo (Vasyl Rozhko), as well as on projects in the field of cultural heritage management (Olena Zhukova). Participants discussed contemporary approaches to the protection of cultural heritage and explored prospects for further collaboration.
