​Career Guidance Zoom Meeting with Olha Soshnikova

On April 2, 2025, students of the Faculty of History participated in a career guidance meeting held via Zoom with Olha Soshnikova, Acting Director of the M.F.Sumtsov Kharkiv Historical Museum, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, and Honored Cultural Worker of Ukraine.

The event, organized by the Department of Historiography, Source Studies, and Archaeology, was devoted to the topic “Museum Work: The Experience of the M.F.Sumtsov Kharkiv Historical Museum.” During the meeting, Olha Soshnikova spoke about the contemporary challenges and distinctive features of museum work under martial law, shared her professional experiences, and offered insights into the role of museums in preserving cultural heritage. Particular attention was given to issues related to collections management, museum communication, and audience engagement.

The session generated strong interest among students, who had the opportunity to pose questions and explore potential career pathways in the museum field.
