​Career Guidance Meeting with Schoolchildren from Budy Village

On October 28, 2025, as part of the “I Learn about Karazin University” program, our university was visited by a group of schoolchildren from the village of Budy. They are members of a club at the Municipal Establishment “Centre for Children’s and Youth Creativity” of the Pivdenne City Council of Kharkiv Raion, Kharkiv Oblast (club leader: Tetiana Bezrukova, Honored Member of the National Union of Local Historians of Ukraine).

The schoolchildren met with the leadership of the School of History, visited the Museum of Archaeology and the Museum of History of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. Following this, a meeting took place with Olha Vovk, a lecturer at the Department of Historiography, Source Studies, and Archaeology. She spoke about the history of the department and the specifics of its educational and scientific areas, the traditions and modern research in local lore at Karazin University, the particularities of studying at the School of History, and the significance of a classical humanities education in the modern world.
