​Lecturer Olha Vovk Awarded the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Prize for Young Scientists

On July 10, 2026, a solemn ceremony was held in Kyiv to award the laureates of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Prize for Young Scientists for 2024. The laureates were congratulated by the Chairman of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Education, Science and Innovation, Serhiy Babak, and the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, who presented diplomas and medals to the leading young scientists of Ukraine.

Among the award recipients was Olha Vovk, a lecturer of the Department of Historiography, Heritage Studies, and Archaeology, who became a laureate of the Prize for a series of publications dedicated to the life and work of the founder of Kharkiv University, Vasyl Karazin (1773–1842). She defended her PhD dissertation on this topic (academic supervisor – Prof. S. M. Kudelko) and is currently working on her doctoral dissertation (academic consultant – Prof. S. I. Posokhov).
