​A Lecturer of the Department Honoured with a Commendation from the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Council

On September 25, 2025, a solemn event took place in Kharkiv to mark World Tourism Day and Tourism Day in Ukraine. The celebration was organized by the Regional Communal Institution “Kharkiv Organizational and Methodological Centre for Tourism” with the support of the Kharkiv Regional Council and the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration. The event was attended by leaders and employees of leading institutions of culture, science, and education, the production sector, public organizations, local state authorities, and local self-government, involved in the development of local tourism in the Kharkiv region.

Olha Vovk, a Lecturer of the Department of Historiography, Source Studies, and Archaeology, and Deputy Director of Academician P.T. Tronko Centre for Ukrainian Studies and Local History of V.N. Karazin KhNU, received a Commendation from the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Council for diligent work, high professionalism, and significant personal contribution to the development of tourism. She also received a separate distinction for her work as a member of the jury for the Regional Youth Competition “Discover Kharkiv Region” for the best virtual excursion – 2025.
