On May 28, 2026, a meeting of the Historiography, Source Studies, and Special Historical Disciplines Club took place. At the meeting, second-year student Nataliia Hratchenko delivered a presentation titled “Public Life of Sumy Residents in the Second Half of the 19th and Early 20th Centuries.”
The presentation provided a comprehensive overview of the leisure and consumer practices of Sumy residents. The speaker succeeded in creating a relaxed atmosphere and engaging the audience with her material, which led to a lively discussion and numerous questions. These concerned both specific aspects of life in Sumy in the 19th century and the sources and research approaches related to the topic.
