​Meeting with Department Alumna Oksana Filipova

The faculty sincerely thanks our alumna, Oksana Filipova, for an engaging and inspiring meeting with students as part of the course “Factors for Successful Employment in the Profession”, held on September 24, 2025. Ms. Filipova shared her personal experience in the job market, spoke about her work at the State Archive of the Kharkiv Region, and discussed her bold decision to pursue a career in software testing as well as her efforts to become a creator of digital content.

It was especially gratifying that our guest fondly recalled her student years at the Faculty of History and emphasized that the knowledge and skills she acquired during her studies became a solid foundation for her professional development. She also recalled the words of S.I. Posokhov, which she heard during her first year and vividly confirmed through her own story: “The Faculty of History graduates people who can find their place in the world, because they leave the faculty but do not stop their personal development.”

In her address to the students, Ms. Filipova stressed the importance of taking a proactive stance, being courageous in trying new things, and striving for self-development.
