Yu.Io.Zhuravskiy passed away 30 years ago

30 years ago, on August 21, 1991, the head of the department of historiography, source studies, and archaeology, Yuri (Yulian) Iosifovich Zhuravskiy (1937-1991) passed away. He was a talented scientist and lecturer, candidate of historical sciences, professor of the A.M.Gorky Kharkiv State University.

The department honors the memory of Yu.Io.Zhuravskiy. In honor of the researcher, a scientific award was established for talented young historians and historiographers.
