Joint meeting of the Historiography, Source Studies, and Special Historical Disciplines Club, and the Art History Club

On November 22, 2023, within the framework of a joint meeting of the Historiography, Source Studies, and Special Historical Disciplines Club, and the Art History Club, a meeting was held with Professor John Dunn from Valdosta State University. He delivered a presentation titled "Postal Propaganda in the 21st Century: How Stamps support Ukraine against Russia". The professor showed rare stamps from the time of the Ukrainian Revolution (1917-1921) and the Ukrainian diaspora from his personal collection. He analyzed Ukraine's propaganda strategy using stamps during the Russo-Ukrainian War. Following the presentation, the discussion turned to the fate of stamps and philately in the modern world.
