"Kharkiv-Poznan: General Trends of Historical Development over the Centuries"
On November 9, 2018, The International Conference "Kharkiv-Poznan: General Trends of Historical Development over the Centuries" was held.
The event was organized by the G.S.Skoworoda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University, V.N.Karazin Kharkiv National University, the Faculty of History of the Adam Mitskevich University in Poznan (Poland). The event takes place within the framework of the implementation of the International Scientific Project “Self-representation of multinational cities in the industrial and post-industrial period”.
Thematic field of the conference included the following issues:
A) city as a phenomenon of industrialization;
B) the city as a multicultural environment;
B) the city as a medium for the formation of many identities;
D) the city as a phenomenon of educational and scientific life;
D) reflection of the history of Kharkov and Poznan in the Polish and Ukrainian historiography.
