Roundtable Discussion "Personal Collections of Scientists in Archives, Museums, and Library Institutions of Ukraine"
On June 14, 2024, as part of International Archives Week, a roundtable discussion titled "Personal Collections of Scientists in Archives, Museums, and Library Institutions of Ukraine: Challenges of Formation, Ensuring Preservation, and Introduction into Scholarly Use" was held at the Museum of Archaeology of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. This event was dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the Central State Scientific and Technical Archive of Ukraine (TsDNTA).
The event was organized by the TsDNTA and the Department of Historiography, Source Studies, and Archaeology of the History Faculty at V.N.Karazin Kharkiv National University. The moderators of the roundtable were Dr. M.A.Balishev, Director of TsDNTA, and Dr. S.I.Posokhov, Head of the Department of Historiography, Source Studies, and Archaeology.
During the roundtable, a presentation of the book "The Department of Historiography, Source Studies, and Archaeology of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University: Autobiographical Essays and Bibliography (2004–2023)" (ed. by S. I. Posokhov; compiled by O. I. Vovk. Kharkiv: Maidan, 2024. 294 pages) took place. The book was prepared for the 60th anniversary of the department.
Participants in the roundtable included representatives from leading archival, museum, and library institutions in Kharkiv. They discussed a wide range of issues and agreed on further cooperation.
