​ Laying flowers at the monument to Vasyl Karazin

On February 10, 2023, the community of V.N.Karazin Kharkiv National University holily celebrated the 250th anniversary of the birthday of the founder of the university, an outstanding Ukrainian scientist-encyclopedist, organizer of education and science, public figure Vasyl’ Nazarovych Karazin (1773–1842).

On this occasion, a solemn ceremony of laying flowers at the monument to Vasyl Karazin was held. Representatives of the administration and the university staff took part in the ceremony. Professor of the department of historiography, source studies and archeology Sergiy Kudelko and deputy director of the P.T.Tronko Centre for Ukrainian Studies and Local Studies Olha Vovk also visited the event.
