Participation in the Ukrainian-German Colloquium "History writing in wartime and exile"

On February 2, 2023, the head of the Department of Historiography, Source Studies, and Archaeology, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Sergiy Posokhov; Assistant Professor of the Department, Candidate of History Yevhen Rachkov; and deputy director of the Academician P.T.Tronko Center for Ukrainian Studies and Local Studies, Candidate of History Olha Vovk presented the results of cultural heritage research at the Ukrainian-German Сolloquium "History writing in wartime and exile". The presentations were dedicated to the destruction, preservation and rethinking of the urban cultural heritage of Ukraine during the war, as well as the preliminary outcomes of the interdisciplinary project CITY AND WAR.

The colloquium was organized by the Department of Modern and Contemporary History with a Focus on the History of Eastern Europe of the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (Prof. Dr. Julia Obertreis) and the School of History of the V.N.Karazin Kharkiv National University (Doctor of Historical Sciences, Prof. Liudmyla Posokhova).
