On February 24, 2023, V.Yu.Ivashchenko and Yu.A.Kiselyova, associate professors of the Department of Historiography, Source Studies, and Archaeology, took part in the conference "One year on: assessing the situation in the EU for Ukrainian women displaced by war," organized by the Migration Policy Centre and the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies of the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence, Italy.
V.Yu.Ivashchenko and Yu.A.Kiselyova presented the report “"This is another scientific trip for me": women scientists in the conditions of forced migration caused by the Russian-Ukrainian war.”
The purpose of the conference was to assess the situation of displaced Ukrainian women in the EU one year after the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, to discuss the opportunities and challenges they face, and to track changes in their individual strategies and plans for the future.
