On April 5, 2023, within the framework of the “Guide School” project, a meeting with Anna Yurchenko, a graduate of the Department of Historiography, Source Studies and Archeology, a research associate of Dmytro Yavornytsky National Historical Museum of Dnipro, and archaeologist, was held.
Anna Yurchenko told the students about the peculiarities of conducting excursions in exhibition halls and archaeological sites, shared her experience of working in a museum, characterized the specifics of excursion work with different categories of visitors. The participants of the school listened to the proposed lecture with great interest and asked a lot of questions, which related not only to the excursion business, but also to the specifics of the work of an archaeologist-scientist, regulatory and legal aspects of the protection of archaeological monuments, etc. Anna Yurchenko presented two authors of the most interesting questions with books that will be useful to students for the formation of their professional knowledge and skills.
