​The presentation of new academic publications took place

On April 23, 2024, at the Central State Scientific and Technical Archive of Ukraine, with the participation of staff from V.N.Karazin Kharkiv National University and Kharkiv Humanitarian Pedagogical Academy, a scientific seminar titled "Personality in the Context of Time: Preserving Cultural and Historical-Biographical Heritage in the Conditions of War" was held.

During the seminar, the presentation and discussion of new historical-biographical publications took place. In particular, the doctoral student of the department, O.I.Vovk, presented the books "Kharkiv University (1941–1945) in the Memoirs of its Teachers and Students" (Kharkiv, 2023) and "Vasili Nazarovici Karazin. Biobibliography" (Kishinev, 2023). The preparation of both publications involved active participation of faculty and graduates of the Department of Historiography, Source Studies, and Archeology under the guidance of the department head, Prof.S.I.Posokhov.

The experts present highly appreciated the new books, noting their significance for further study of the history of Kharkiv University, Kharkiv, and Ukraine, and wished the author teams further fruitful work in preparing valuable academic publications.
