On the September 28 on the one of Kharkiv's most famous sights - the Donetsk settlement was held the meeting of the Archeology Circle.
As part of the visit, students of the History Faculty and all interested parties were able to view the remains of the Donets. Also the curator of the circle, Associate professor of the Department of Historiography, Source Studies and Archeology Irina Shramko conducted a tour of the settlement and told about the history of its research.
The highlight of the meeting was the demonstration of work with unmanned aerial vehicles - drones and a mini-lecture about the possibility of their use for archeological research on monuments of this type from postgraduate students of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics of Kharkiv Aviation Institute Ivan Zhezeriya and Valery Vasiliev.
As part of the practical training, students had a great opportunity to learn the skills of working with the tacheometer and learn about the wide range of possibilities of using this device, told by an researcher of the Museum of Archeology of Karazin University Stanislav Zadnikov.
And excellent weather provided excellent conditions for work and good mood of all participants of departure.
